The CD of Rêverie, narrated by Alex Jennings, has been chosen by Ian Lace as a Recording of the Year 2018 for Music Web International.
To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Clara Schumann’s birth Lucy has created a new show for 2019. “I, Clara” will receive its London premiere at Kings Place, as part of the London Piano Festival next October. Further information and concert dates will be posted on the diary pages shortly.
Lucy will be a commentator for the Medici TV broadcast of the Final of the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition. The event comes live from the Barbican Hall, London on 22nd November. See diary for further details.
Alistair McGowan replaces an indisposed Henry Goodman for a performance of Elégie tomorrow (14th October) at The Stables, Wavendon. See diary for further details.

Lucy’s new CD recording of Elégie received a four-star review in this month’s edition of BBC Music Magazine.
In September Lucy will join Andrew MacGregor for BBC Radio 3’s complete coverage of the renowned Leeds International Piano Competition. She also joins Petroc Trelawny as the commentator for the television coverage – to be streamed live Medici TV.
On 15th July Lucy joined Radio 3 presenter Georgia Mann to broadcast the BBC Young Musician Prom on the BBC World Service. The concert came live from the Royal Albert Hall, London.
On Friday, 22nd June, Lucy joins Daniele de Niese on BBC4 in a documentary about female composers. See diary for further details.
